Modernization of fixed assets increases their value after being recognized and used for some period of time. It is connected with a number of costs, related to fixed assets, such as maintenance, repair, installation of additional components etc.

When modernization document is created, it makes records in Transaction journal, Inventory journal, and Assets journal. You may view a list of records for modernization by clicking on a special button next to it in general Modernization list or in a particular entry.

To go to Modernization

  1. On the Codejig ERP Main menu, click the Fixed Assets tab.
  2. Under the Fixed Asset tab, click Modernization.
