Create a New Warehouse Movement Document
To create a warehouse movement document
1. On the Codejig ERP Main menu, click the Inventory module, and then select Warehouse movement.
A listing page of the Warehouse movement document opens.
2. On the listing page, click + Add new.
You are taken to a page for defining inventory transfer information. The page consists of the following sections:
- General area.
- Inventory section.
3. In the General area, select warehouses between which internal stock movements are to take place.
Note: If multiple warehouses are not allowed in the system (the Multiple warehouses option is turned off in My company settings), you cannot select warehouses between which goods are to be moved and you use this document to transfer goods between different inventory accounts or between different warehouse sections of the default warehouse (if the Use warehouse sections option is enabled in the system).
For more details about enabling or disabling multiple warehouses in the system, see My Company Settings: Preferences Tab.
4. In the Inventory section, add goods to be moved and indicate quantities for transfer. Also, if required, specify warehouse sections and inventory accounts between which goods are to be transferred.
5. Click Save.
Note: To be able to save the document, you have to fill in the required fields which are marked with an asterisk (*).
You have to post the document to affect the inventory and trigger accounting changes in the system. Unposted document is considered a draft document.
To view postings the document has made, click the Register button on the listing page next to a table entry representing this document or click the Registers icon on the toolbar on the form page of the document.
