If your company is registered for VAT, and you have created the VAT registration document to enable the VAT-related functionality in the system, you can see the summary of the added and posted VAT registration documents under this tab.


If your VAT registration has been canceled due to the fact that your company was no longer eligible for VAT and you have also created a new VAT registration document to make VAT-related features unavailable for all the subsequent documents and accounting activities, you can see the summary of this VAT registration document under this tab too.

Also, you can create a new VAT registration document directly from this tab by clicking Create new button.  
Note: You cannot modify any data under this tab, just view VAT registration document details.
The summary/summaries will be presented in a form of a line item in a table.
Note: Line item is a line structure that contains an item and item details. The line item is comprised of a number of fields, such as date, country, VAT number, etc.
The line items representing created VAT registration documents with which you registered for VAT/canceled VAT registration contain the following details:
 

Field

Used for displaying

Show VAT section for sales documents option

Turn on this option to add a section for VAT details to all documents in the sales documents flow.

VAT number

Your VAT number.

  • Even when you create a new VAT registration document after the cancellation of registration, you should also enter the VAT number you were originally assigned while registering for VAT.

Member state

Country in which you registered for VAT/canceled your registration.

Default

A tick symbol indicates that a line item represents a VAT number that is a default for your company and will be used in other accounting documents.

Inactive

A tick symbol indicates that a line item represents a VAT registration document which you have created after registering for VAT to enable VAT functionality in Codejig ERP.

A cross symbol indicates that a line item represents a VAT registration document you have created after canceling VAT registration to deactivate tax-related features.
