Contact Person: General Area

Use this area to fill in the information about the contact person of your business partner:
 

Field

Used to

Title

Choose the title that will be used before the surname or full name as a sign of respect.

Name

Provide the name of the contact person.

  • It is a required field. If you do not provide a name for the contact, you will not be able to save the document.

Company

Select the company that the contact person represents.

Default

Indicate wherever this contact person is a default contact for the chosen company.

Document number (#) is assigned automatically when you save the warehouse movement document based on the selected numerator.

Users with the appropriate permissions can override the auto-generated number and enter it manually.

After overriding the warehouse movement document number, automated numbering will proceed in the same manner but using the manually set number as a start value.

Email, Phone, Skype

Provide the contact information for the person, including email address, phone number or Skype id.

Note

Add any extra details regarding the transfer of goods if needed.

Attachment

Any additional files or external links related to the contact person.

Inactive

Turn on the Inactive option if you want to deactivate a previously active contact person.

If a contact person is inactive, it will not be available for selection or use and will be accessible only on the listing page of the Contact person directory.  

By default, this option is turned off and all newly created contact persons are active. You can select active contact persons from the lists for the Contact person field in various documents and directories.
