Activate a Pre-Defined Unit of Measurement
In Codejig ERP, several units of measurement are pre-defined by default. They all are available for use. For you will doubtedly require them all, each unit of measurement can be made active/inactive. Active units will appear in selection lists for the field Unit of measurement in various directories, while inactive ones will not be available for selection or use and will be accessible only on the listing page of the Unit of measurement directory.
By default, the pre-defined units of measurement are inactive. To be able to use them, you have to activate the units you intend to use. To do that
1. On the Codejig ERP Main menu, go to the Inventory module, and then select Measurement Unit.

2. On the listing page, click a table entry summarizing a measurement unit you want to activate.

3. Click update, and then turn off the Inactive option if you want to activate the measurement unit.
4. Click Save.
Also, you can deactivate the previously active units of measurement that you do not intend to use any longer. Deactivated units will disappear from selection lists and will not be available for use in all newly created records or documents. However, the deactivated units will persist in records or documents where they have been selected.
To deactivate an active measurement unit, follow the procedure described above, with certain modifications to steps 2 and 3. Instead of accessing a unit you want to activate, open a unit you need to deactivate. Also, instead of turning off the Inactive, turn it on.
If you lack certain measurement units, you can create them.
