Journals are used in Codejig ERP for storing of bookkeeping records posted by Documents. Journal records can not be entered directly - posting / unposting of Documents is the only way to change them.
Warning: Journals can't contain transient, collection and dynamic fields as well as regular string and binary fields.
Note: Journal is the only kind which allows regular fields of Journal data-type. i.e. Journal records could refer each other, but no other instance could.
