Company: Goods Charts Tab

Under the Goods Charts tab, you can create and analyze charts displaying a company's sales and purchase dynamics.
 
Charts cannot be generated for newly created companies as there is no data to be processed yet. Only when certain sales or purchase transactions for new companies take place, information from them can be retrieved, analyzed and rendered in charts.
 
Charts can be found only for Customer and Vendor company types. Charts are fully customizable along the following parameters:
 

Field

Used for

Date from / Date to

The charts will display only those values which fall within the date range specified by the Date from and Date to.

Type of charts

Indicate whether charts will display data for the entire period or by months.

 
There are the following two types of reports on this tab:
 
  • Cost of sold goods / Cost of purchased goods
 
Cost of sold goods relates solely to the companies with a type Customer and may be represented as a pie chart and a bar chart.
Pie chart indicates the amount of share of each good that was sold to the customer during the stated period.
Bar chart indicates the amount of share of each good that was sold to the customer at each month. The chart is not customizable.
 
Cost of purchased goods relates solely to the companies with a type Vendor and may be represented as a pie chart and a bar chart.
Pie chart indicates the amount of share of each good that was purchased from the vendor during the stated period.
Bar chart indicates the amount of share of each good that was purchased from the vendor at each month. The chart is not customizable.
 
  • Goods balances
 
The report is represented as a list of line items, in this case, goods and services, that are still in the process of sale or purchase, depending on the company type.
Goods balances relate to both Customers and Vendors.
 
Fields of a Goods balances

Field

Used to

State

Goods or services may have the following statuses:

Delivery/Shipment date

Date, when stated good or service was delivered or shipped.

Consignment

A document that recorded consigned goods and services (for example, purchase invoices, goods and services receipts and product assembly documents, etc.).

Good

Name of the particular good or service, that is still in the process of sale or purchase, depending on the company type.

Inventory account

Bookkeeping account that goods or services are accounted on.

The account is retrieved from My company settings, although it is recommended to change it manually for a more suitable one.

Warehouse

Name of the warehouse that goods are delivered or shipped from.

Unit

Unit of measurement for goods or services.

Quantity

Quantity of goods of a certain type that are still in the process of sale or purchase, depending on the company type.

Price

Price of the good or service that are still in the process of sale or purchase, depending on the company type.

Amount

Amount to be paid for a good or service hat are still in the process of sale or purchase, depending on the company type.
