Activity: General Area

For each new activity you will have the following number of fields in the general area to fill in:

 

Field

Used for

Name

Provide the name of the activity that will be reflected on the activities listing page.

  • It is a required field. If you do not provide a name for the activity, you will not be able to save the document.

Lead

Choose a lead that is involved in the activity.

Assigned

Choose an employee to assign the activity to.

Priority

Select the priority level for the activity from a drop-down list or create a new one.

Status

Select the status of the activity. It is recommended to choose the Open status when creating a new activity, and after closing it update the status.

Type

Select the type of activity from the drop-down list or create a new one. Activity types include tasks, calls, messages and meetings.

Used to

Add the description of the activity or any additional notes and comments.

Due date

Select the deadline date for activity completion.

Activity serial number (#) is assigned automatically when you save the activity based on the selected numerator.

Users with the appropriate permissions can override the auto-generated number and enter it manually.

After overriding the activity number, automated numbering will proceed in the same manner but using the manually set number as a start value.
